1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using AZ Education ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use AZ Education. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these terms on your behalf.

By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will delete their account and data immediately.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others or allow multiple people to use a single account.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service (other than through our official API, if provided).
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our question bank or content.
• Use the AI tutor to generate content unrelated to test preparation.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or circumvent security measures.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Content Ownership

Our content: All questions, explanations, algorithms, and educational materials on AZ Education are owned by AZ Education or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Your data: You retain ownership of your personal data (profile information, learning history). You grant us a limited license to use this data solely to provide and improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

AZ Education may offer free and paid subscription plans. When payment processing is available:

• Prices will be clearly displayed before purchase.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never handle your credit card information directly.
• Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refund requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7. AI Tutor

The AI tutor is a supplementary study tool powered by third-party AI models.

• AI responses are generated and may contain errors. Always verify important information.
• The AI tutor is not a substitute for professional instruction.
• Usage limits apply (currently 20 messages per day).
• Conversations with the AI tutor may be processed by third-party AI providers (see Privacy Policy).

8. Service Availability

AZ Education is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice.

We are not responsible for any loss of study data or progress due to service interruptions, though we will make reasonable efforts to maintain data integrity.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AZ Education and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, test scores, or educational outcomes, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AZ Education, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or your use of the Service.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice when practical. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona, unless both parties agree to alternative dispute resolution.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
